Sibel is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Board Certified Masters Addictions Professional, Board Certified Sex Therapist, and Life Coach with over 20 years in Experience. Sibel earned a Master of Education Degree and a Specialist in Education Degree, both specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Florida. She is also a Graduate of CoachU's 3-year prestigious Coaching Program and works with clients on various life and work issues. Sibel has completed Level 1-3 Practicum Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. She also has completed Training in Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR), and is trained in Child-Parent Interaction Training (PCIT). She is an Approved Supervisor for Marriage and Family and Mental Health Therapist Interns. She continues to strive for Excellence by attending professional workshops, seminars, and continued focus on personal self-growth. She utilizes an eclectic approach, that includes Modalities such as Systems Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Reality Therapy. Carol is a Licensed Mental Health

Responder (NOVA), Bereavement and Grief Professional (Hospice), Active Member
of the American School Counselor Association, and a Licensed Massage Therapist
(Hammock Beach) with over 15 years Experience. Carol earned a 4.0 GPA Master’s
in Counseling and Mental Health Counseling Degree from Webster University, both
specializing in a “person-centered” holistic mind/body/spirit approach to well
Carol has advised families and
individuals including young children, adolescents, in schools (three levels: elementary,
middle, high school), community agency, elderly adults in hospitals, in-home
and nursing homes. Believing in the mind and body connection Carol fosters
caring for all aspects of wellness by focusing on a “solutions approach” of
care. Focusing on a persons strengths and positive attributes, Carol strives to
create a place where healing and growth can begin. Carol’s preferred therapeutic
methods target the needs of each client, considering Person Centered, and
Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT).
A single mother of five, Carol’s
life experience compliments her professional experience as she herself juggled
the demands of earning multiple degrees, evenings while working full time.
Inspired by their mother, Carol’s two daughters will graduate with honors from
college, while her three boys currently attend middle and high schools.

Jennifer Tanenbaum, M.S.W, RCSWI
Jennifer is an accomplished counselor, with over 5 years’ experience in mental health, substance abuse and family therapy, and crisis case management. Jennifer is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern with the State of Florida, has obtained a 4.0 GPA Master’s Degree in Social Work from Walden University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from University of Central Florida. Jennifer is also certified in Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), and has experience in using multiple clinical modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
During her schooling, Jennifer has interned with both private practice and large mental health organization programs. Jen nifer began her career in mental health as an intern for Sibel here at Anew Counseling. Jennifer has also provided two clinical internships for her Master’s degree at Stewart-Marchman-ACT Healthcare. The first internship was in outpatient substance abuse counseling, where Jennifer single-handedly ran the program for 6 months by herself, counseled many clients, and organized the program to meet clinical standards. Jennifer’s 2 clinical internship was performed at Women Assisting Recovering Mothers (WARM), where she facilitated multiple therapeutic groups, and was eventually hired as a counselor.
Jennifer worked as a counselor for Stewart-Marchman-ACT Healthcare’s WARM Program for almost two years, providing individual counseling, various clinical groups, and case management services, and worked with Flagler County’s court system on behalf of her clients. Before that, Jennifer worked for SMA Healthcare’s Crisis, Triage and Treatment Unit (CTTU), providing Crisis Case Management for clients in acute mental health or substance-related crisis, and working hand-in-hand with local Law Enforcement to provide clients under Baker Act with the best possible care.
Jennifer has lived in the Flagler County area for most of her life, in both Bunnell and Palm Coast. Jennifer went to school in the Flagler County School system. Jennifer is a very down-to-earth person, and has always been a hard worker, juggling school, working full-time, and as of January 2019, raising a child with her husband.
Jennifer combines these multiple professional and personal experiences in order to provide an expansive range of services for her clients.

Hello, my Name is Suki (Chinese for "Beloved") I am a 7 year old Female Shih-tzu and I am Anew Counseling's Therapy Dog. I like to give kisses, have my belly rubbed, and like to snuggle up on your lap. I am very affectionate and friendly. My hair is like Human Hair and therefore I am hypo-allergenic. However, if you have serious Dog allergies or don't like dogs, please let my Owner know, and I can go into my little House aka crate. I look forward to meeting you :)
