During her schooling, Jennifer has interned with both private practice and large mental health organization programs. Jennifer began her career in mental health as an intern for Sibel here at Anew Counseling. Jennifer has also provided two clinical internships for her Master’s degree at Stewart-Marchman-ACT Healthcare. The first internship was in outpatient substance abuse counseling, where Jennifer ran the program for 6 months by herself, counseled many clients, and organized the program to meet clinical standards. Jennifer’s 2 clinical internship was performed at Women Assisting Recovering Mothers (WARM), where she facilitated multiple therapeutic groups, and was eventually hired as a counselor.
Jennifer worked as a counselor for Stewart-Marchman-ACT Healthcare’s WARM Program for almost two years, providing individual counseling, various clinical groups, and case management services, and worked with Flagler County’s court system on behalf of her clients. Before that, Jennifer worked for SMA Healthcare’s Crisis, Triage and Treatment Unit (CTTU), providing Crisis Case Management for clients in acute mental health or substance-related crisis, and working hand-in-hand with local Law Enforcement to provide clients under Baker Act with the best possible care.
Jennifer has lived in the Flagler County area for most of her life, in both Bunnell and Palm Coast. Jennifer went to school in the Flagler County School system. Jennifer is a very down-to-earth person, and has always been a hard worker, juggling school, working full-time, and as of January 2019, raising a child with her husband.
Jennifer combines these multiple professional and personal experiences in order to provide an expansive range of services for her clients.
