Sibel is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, Board Certified Masters Addictions Professional, Board Certified Sex Therapist, and Life Coach with over 25 years of experience. Sibel earned a Master of Education degree and a Specialist in Education degree, both specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy, from the University of Florida. She is also a graduate of CoachU’s prestigious three-year coaching program and works with clients on various life and work issues. Sibel has completed Level 1–3 Practicum Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. She has also completed training in Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR), and is trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).

She is an Approved Supervisor for Marriage and Family and Mental Health Therapist Interns. She continues to strive for excellence by attending professional workshops and seminars, with a continued focus on personal growth. She uses an eclectic approach that includes modalities such as Systems Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and the Gottman Method.

Anthony is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Board Certified Master’s Level Addiction Professional (MCAP) and Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICADC) with over 15 years of experience. Anthony holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Washington and Jefferson College, a master’s degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma, and a Doctorate in Counseling Studies from Capella University.

He has completed Level 3 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) for working with clients in the criminal justice system, Solution Focused and Conflict Resolution Therapy, Strengthening Family Therapy, and numerous other evidence-based practices for substance abuse and mental health. He is a member of the Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association, the Florida Mental Health Counselors Association, and the Washington and Jefferson College and University of Oklahoma alumni associations. He is committed to excellence and believes that every person, given opportunity and the right support, can live a fulfilling and meaningful life.

Carol is a seasoned Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 11 years of experience working in diverse settings such as schools, residential care, hospitals, hospice, crisis care, and a community care center. A Summa Cum Laude graduate in Sociology from Bethune-Cookman University, she also holds a master’s degree in counseling from Webster University. Carol’s approach is grounded in cultural sensitivity and evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Behavioral Activation (BA).

Passionate about suicide prevention, particularly among youth, Carol actively supports schools, families, and the community in combating this critical issue. She empowers clients to overcome trauma and stress by building coping skills and balancing life’s demands. In addition to individual, family, and couples counseling, Carol facilitates court-approved groups such as Anger Management Level 1 and 2, Active Parenting, and Prevention (drug education for youth). Participants receive a certificate on successful completion. Inspired by Maya Angelou and Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, Carol is dedicated to fostering healing, growth, and empowerment in a safe and nurturing environment.

Yvette Sabater-Lenk

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Yvette Sabater-Lenk has been providing clinical therapeutic and intensive case management services to children, adults and families since 1996. She has a BA in Sociology/Psychology, a Master’s in Social Work (Clinical/Group), and a PhD in Social Welfare. She is an Accredited Case Manager and is certified in Applied Behavior Analysis, Play Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

Dr. Sabater-Lenk has provided clinical services in a variety of settings to diverse populations, including inpatient and outpatient psychiatric facilities, therapeutic day programs, and home-based and school-based programs. She is trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Play Therapy. She currently specializes in working with exceptional students who struggle with social-emotional learning, a history of trauma, and other mental health symptoms affecting their academic learning.

Registered Marriage & Family Therapist Intern

Joy Voeth is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern who provides a warm, non-judgmental space for individuals and couples to navigate life’s changes and challenges. Drawing from a systemic perspective, Joy sees each person’s struggles in the context of their relationships, life experiences, and strengths, helping clients understand patterns, shift dynamics, and foster meaningful connection. Her approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed care.

Joy is trained in leading evidence-based therapies, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma, and Emotionally Focused Couple Therapy for relationships. She also draws from systemic therapies and the Gottman Method to support clients in achieving meaningful and lasting change.

Joy holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University. Her background as a Certified Deep Transformational Coach, combined with her MBA from Nova Southeastern University and her BA in Psychology and Theater from Smith College, enriches her ability to help clients build resilience, heal from trauma, and move toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Amanda Rhine

Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern

Amanda Rhine completed her undergraduate degree at Florida State University in Family and Child Sciences in 2006. As a young social worker, she began her career supporting and licensing foster homes in Tampa, Florida. After moving to Iowa in 2008, she continued in case management, providing education to parents and behavioral support for youth. After eight years of owning a Pilates and aerial arts studio in Iowa, she sold it. Valuing physical health’s impact on mental health, Amanda pursued a Wellcoaches certification and became a certified Pilates professional in 2010.

She moved back to her beloved hometown of Palm Coast to begin her master’s degree in social work through Saint Leo University in 2020. Her first internship in Flagler County schools reinforced her love of working with youth as she created social-emotional psycho-education groups at Indian Trails Middle School and body-positivity psycho-education groups at Matanzas High School. Integrating body and somatic awareness techniques as coping skills is what Amanda is most excited to offer. Amanda is currently training in EMDR.

Sue is Anew Counseling’s Office Administrator, and usually your first contact. She takes care of all the scheduling, insurance verifications, and day-to-day office tasks. She has been with Anew Counseling for about five years and has over 20 years of office administration experience. A native of Massachusetts, she has been enjoying the Florida lifestyle for the last nine years with her husband and two dogs.
