Carol is a seasoned Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 11 years of experience working in diverse settings such as schools, residential care, hospitals, hospice, crisis care, and a community care center. A Summa Cum Laude graduate in Sociology from Bethune-Cookman University, she also holds a master’s degree in counseling from Webster University. Carol’s approach is grounded in cultural sensitivity and evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Behavioral Activation (BA).

Passionate about suicide prevention, particularly among youth, Carol actively supports schools, families, and the community in combating this critical issue. She empowers clients to overcome trauma and stress by building coping skills and balancing life demands. In addition to Individual, Family, and Couples Counseling, Carol facilitates court-approved group sessions like Anger Management, Active Parenting, and drug prevention education. Inspired by Maya Angelou and Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune, Carol is dedicated to fostering healing, growth, and empowerment in a safe and nurturing environment.
